This simple puree is an excellent way to expose your baby to legumes, which support healthy growth and digestion.

Ingredients

  • Lentils30 g
  • Breastmilk1/2 cup

Recommended after 12 months old

Steps

  1. 1. Rinse the lentils thoroughly. Add lentils in a saucepan and water enough to submerge the lentils.
  2. 2. Cook the lentils in medium low heat for 15 minutes, or until it is soft.
  3. 3. Transfer the lentils to a blender. Add one tablespoon of the leftover water so that it can be blended.
  4. 4. Add the mixture into breastmilk or formula, and mix it well.
