Ingredients

3 servings
  • Fish, tilapia1 pc
  • Mashed potato1 pc
  • Egg yolk1 pc
  • Breadcrumbs3 tbsp
  • Olive oil1/2 tsp

Steps

  1. 01

Prepare the fish: Steam or lightly poach the white fish until cooked through. Flake it with a fork, ensuring no bones remain.

  2. 02

Mix the bites: In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked fish, mashed potato, and egg yolk. Mix well to form a soft mixture.

  3. 03

Shape into bites: Form small, toddler-friendly bite-sized pieces (about 6–8 bites). Roll each piece in the crushed crackers or breadcrumbs to coat lightly.

  4. 04

Cook in the air fryer: Arrange the bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with olive oil. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until lightly golden and firm.

  5. 05

Cool and serve: Allow the bites to cool for a few minutes before serving to ensure they are safe for little hands to handle.
