Ingredients
- Tofu200 g
- Oat flour3 tbsp
- Applesauce3 tbsp
- Cornstarch2 tbsp
- Olive oil1/2 tsp
Steps
Prepare the tofu: Drain the tofu and pat it dry with a clean kitchen towel. Cut it into finger-sized strips (about 6–8 pieces).
Set up the coating station: Place oat flour, cornstarch, and applesauce in separate shallow bowls.
Coat the tofu: Lightly roll each tofu strip in cornstarch, dip into the applesauce to coat, then roll it in the oat flour for a light crust.
Cook in the air fryer: Arrange the tofu fingers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap. Lightly spray with olive oil. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until lightly golden.
Cool and serve: Let the tofu fingers cool for a few minutes before serving to ensure they’re safe for little hands.
