Ingredients

3 servings
  • Pumpkin1 cup
  • Egg yolk1 piece
  • Whole wheat flour2 tbsps
  • Olive oil1 tbsp
  • Water1 tbsp

Steps

  1. 01

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 02

Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of cooked, mashed pumpkin with 1 egg yolk, 2 tablespoons of flour, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of water. Stir with a fork or spoon until a soft dough forms.

  3. 03

Shape the Chews : Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the dough and shape it into small, flat rounds (about 1/4 inch thick) by hand. Place them on the lined baking sheet.

  4. 04

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the chews are firm but still soft enough for teething babies to gnaw on.

  5. 05

Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the pumpkin chews to cool completely before serving to your baby.
