Prepare the broccoli: Cut the broccoli into small florets and steam them until tender, about 5 minutes.
Mash the potato: While the broccoli is steaming, cook and mash the potato (or sweet potato) until smooth.
Mix the ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, mashed potato, applesauce, and oat flour. Stir until a thick, sticky mixture forms.
Shape the bites: Use a spoon to scoop small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls or patties.
Cook in the air fryer: Place the broccoli bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with olive oil. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes, until golden and crispy on the outside.
