Ingredients

  • Persimmon 6 pcs
  • Lemon juice2 Tbsp
  • Water1 Tbsp
  • Chia seeds1 tsp
  • Vanilla extract1 tsp

Steps

  1. 1. Remove the green leafy part of the persimmon, peel, and chop into pieces⁠
  2. 2. Add the chopped persimmon to a medium saucepan along with the lemon juice and bring to a simmer over medium heat⁠
  3. 3. Cook for 20-25 mins until the fruit is soft and use a fork or potato masher to help break down the fruit along the way⁠
  4. 4. Add the chia seeds and vanilla extract and stir⁠
  5. 5. Remove the mixture from heat and transfer to a high powered blender⁠, add the water⁠
  6. 6. Blend until smooth then pour into mason jars or other glass containers to cool⁠
  7. 7. Once cool, feel free to serve and enjoy!⁠
