Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour1.5 cups + 1 Tbsp
  • Water3/4 cups
  • Olive oil1.5 Tbsp
  • Sesame oil1 Tbsp
  • Sesame seeds1.5 Tbsp
  • Salt1 tsp
  • Green onions 4-6 pieces, thinly sliced⁠
  • Soy sauce2 Tbsp
  • Vinegar2 Tbsp
  • Water1 Tbsp
  • Green onions1 tsp
  • Ginger root 1 tsp, minced

Steps

  1. 1. Place 1.5 cups flour in a bowl, add the boiling water and stir. When the dough cools, knead into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 mins⁠
  2. 2. In a small bowl mix 1 Tbsp flour, 1 Tbsp olive oil and the sesame oil⁠. Cut the dough into 4 pieces⁠
  3. 3. Flour your counter and roll out one piece to a rough circle 6-8"⁠ Brush with some of the oil-flour mixture then sprinkle with 1/4 of the tsp of salt, 1/4 of the chopped green onions and 1/4 of the sesame seeds⁠
  4. 4. Roll into a cylinder then coil the cylinder into a spiral. Roll the spiral out into a circle approx 4-5"⁠
  5. 5. Heat 1/2 Tbsp oil in a non-stick pan over med-high heat⁠. Fry the pancake for 2-3 mins each side or until golden brown⁠
  6. 6. Do this for each pancake then cut them into 6 triangles and serve with the dipping sauce⁠
  7. 7. Combine all the ingredients for the dipping sauce, serve, and enjoy!⁠
