It is so moist and delicious and I love that there's no added sugar but it still makes for a deliciously sweet treat, perfect for littles! It's also packed with great fiber and healthy fats to help support our growing babes. It's not quite my abuelita's famous banana bread but it definitely satisfied the itch. Ingredients
- Date1 cup
- Banana4 pcs
- Applesauce 1/2 cup
- Coconut oil1/4 cup
- Vanilla extract2 tsp
- All-purpose flour 2 cups
- Baking soda1 1/4 tsp
- Spices, cinnamon1 tsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Walnuts1/2 cup
- Raisins1/4 cup

Steps
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350
- 2. Lightly spray a loaf pan with oil and set aside
- 3. Drain the dates and place them in a food processor with the bananas, applesauce, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Blend it all together until smooth
- 4. In a separate bowl mix together all dry ingredients (except for the walnuts and raisins)
- 5. Carefully pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients, taking care not to over mix but make sure everything is just combined
- 6. Once the batter is uniform fold in your walnuts and raisins
- 7. Pour the batter evenly into the loaf pan
- 8. Bake for 60-70 minutes until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean
- 9. Once done, remove from oven, let cool, serve, and enjoy!
