These cheesy cauliflower bites make the perfect accompaniment to a roast dinner or saucy casserole - or even as a lunch box snack. (Good luck trying to stop the kids from eating them straight out of the oven!) Source: kidspot
Ingredients
- Cauliflower300 g
- Potato200 g
- Egg1
- Garlic1 clove
- Parmasan cheese1/2 cup
- Saltpinch

Steps
- 1. Preheat oven to 200°C and line a tray with baking paper.
- 2. Roughly chop potato and cauliflower and place in a steamer basket to steam for 2-3 minutes until just tender, but not falling apart.
- 3. Remove from steamer basket and place in a bowl to cool slightly.
- 4. Mash the potato and cauliflower together with a fork.
- 5. Add egg, cheese and salt to the mash and mix.
- 6. Take 1 tbsp of the mixture and roll into a ball, then place on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining mixture.
- 7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, turning them over half way, until golden.
- 8. Cool before eating,
